Hi there,

My name is Rian (if you didn't know already)!

I am 24 years old, I live in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and I get to go on adventures with my best friend, Johnny...who just so happens to be my husband. <3

Since I was little I have always loved the idea of creating things.

From selling hardened play dough sculptures, to choreographing dances with my cousins, to trying to build a robotic chair that could brush my hair for me.

​

I believe I was designed to create.

​

In 2018 I built my first website.

IT. WAS. EPIC.

​

I had absolutlely no idea what I was doing at the time and for 3 months, Google was my best friend. But after a lot of trial, error, & coffee, I finally got it down!

FLash forward to 2021 and I was still designing websites for local shops and small businesses to bring in a little extra cash and also to give myself a creative outlet.

​

That's when I really started getting into photography, 

People would ask me to do photos for their website and after a few different requests I figured I'd better learn.

It was easy because I loved taking photos from a young age...most of them were selfies on my iPod in high school, of course...

but none the less, I enjoyed it. 

​

I loved dressing up my friends, cousins, nieces, or my mom and would pose them just right where I could snap that perfect (over exposed, brightness all the way up to where you can barely see your nose anymore and bangs covering half your face) photo!  

​

Needless to say, I have become a bit more familiar and comfortable with lighting and editing. 

As much as I love those "tongue out, duck face, peace sign up" photos, I came to realize how much I adore taking candid, genuine photos. 

​

Those mid laugh, smooshy kiss, authentic kinda love photos. 

​

Capturing the raw, real, & genuine moments.

Life isn't perfect.

It is messy and chaotic and hey, sometimes you knock the top layer of your wedding cake off and your groom catches it...(this ACTUALLY happened at our wedding, just so you know). 

​

The point is, if we waste all of our time posing and trying

to be prefect, we are going to miss all those special,

simple moments in between that make up the magic! 

​

I want to capture the perfect messes and chaotic masterpieces

of your events, birthdays, weddings, and anything else you

want be able to look back on and enjoy for the years to come!
